[at-l] The Morning after Thanksgiving

It snowed out most of the day yesterday. We have around 4 inches of
snow on the ground this morning. Temperature around 10 degrees when
I got up with no clouds in the sky and a light breeze. It is
beautiful with the sunlight reflecting off the snow and everything
draped in white. The mountains across the lake are magnificent.

We are expecting our children to arrive around nonn to celebrate
Thanksgiving. They spent yesterday with inlaws. We give up the
official day in order to spend more time with them on the weekend.
Gunstock Ski Area is making snow hopefully to open for the season on
Friday December 2nd. I hope to be up on the summit on Saturday to
get a glimpse of Mt Washington and Franconia Ridge about 40 miles due
north. I have not hiked much this year and I guess will not get out
on the trail until Spring. But I should be getting a daily dose of
fresh air when I am teaching skiing at Gunstock.
