[at-l] Bandanna Quest

Oh, Jim, that tying a standard bandanna around your head problem really got me--cause I have the same problem (not easy for a woman to admit she has a HUGE head). I found it helps to roll the bandanna up and knot it BEFORE I put it on my head. I leave tiny little tails on the knot and then push the pre-tied bandanna down over my head. I know it's going to take 99.9% of the bandana just to get around my cranium.

Another use for a bandana--potential sling for an injured arm. There's also a way to tie one and safety pin it to give a sprained ankle more support.

No, he's just choosey. He doesn't want something that will spark controversy while he's hiking and thus interfere with the pleasure of being out in the woods.

I have a different problem with bandanas. I have *lots* of them. For several years my wife and kids would buy me bandanas as gifts and I have at least a dozen including some of those Harley ones, 3-4 Kung-Fu motif, several of the old fashioned paisley ones, an ADK High Peaks map one, 2 blue ones with white polka dots, 2 green ones with a black pattern on them and one US flag one. That's not the problem though. My problem is that I wish they made them 22x22 instead of 21x21. I have just barely enough to tie it around my head with the standard size.
