Night hiking, to me, brings up memories of winter hikes in the northern smokies when I had too many miles to cover in an unexpected 3-5 of snow. All up hill. After a couple of nights of that, I was beat. Not all night hikes are fun. However, with tonight being a harvest moon, I would sure love to be on some high altitude bald! Preferably with a good cigar and a nalgene of crown! :-) T.
