Hey Linda.  Try a hair dryer with it blowing on the cool setting.  For the tubing, you can take a piece of regular typing paper and
role it from one corner to the other to make a funnel (looks like a Dunce hat).  With a piece of taper on the end of the dryer and
tubing, you can direct the concentrated air flow right through it.  Doesn't take but just a few minutes to do this, too.
