It's a question that needs to be answered, though.
It's the most important question of all -- it trumps
everything else, especially matters of gear.

You need to know WHY you're out there, because
there may be hard days when that question is the
ONLY thing on your mind.

There's no such thing as a PUD, because the
whole AT from GA to ME is really one vast
series of PUDs -- if looked at the "wrong" way.
