Benton MacKaye uses the word "wilderness" once in his proposal for "An 
Appalachian Trail: A Project for Regional Planning". (And only as a place name) 
"Trail" is used 33 times, "development" eight, "employment" nine, and "recreation" 
seven.

Where in 'Regional Planning' does it say the reason for the Trail was 
wilderness?
