Speaking for myself, it's nowhere near so altruistic
or noble. That's not an argument I'd use.
With a cell, I get to chat with my wife every day
or two. *Not* doing that is a (minor) hardship that
we no longer need to endure.
To say that disconnection = good and connection
= bad is simplistic and facile, imo.
