Coming from, of course, someone who ignores how the greater Project
would have entailed more preserved lands when explained. - How MacKaye wanted
a national forest-sized corridor through the urban parts of the Trail near
New York. - How those logging tracts and farms would now be preserved from
development instead of being subject to the present Plum Creek's and Potter's
Valley projects being built right in the face of the Trail and Project. Or even the
Trail's purpose itself, outside of criticisms of MacKaye's alleged
shortcomings...
