I don't want to make too much of this thread. I think Coosa is a very bright, and nice, person. But based on her postings on this thread; the contents on her blog; and from her own account of her reading habits, I suspect she has very little idea about what her blog is really saying.

If her views were just silly, I would probably just ignore them. But her Sunday offering is blatantly racist and factually absurd. There was no communist party as we knew it when the 14th amendment was passed creating citizenship for freed slaves.

I doubt very much if she has any idea about what she is posting, regardless of the source, and the source where she borrowed the material, is from.

I'll change my mind only if she tells me she really believes that crap.

I do believe, however, that responsible people have a duty to question blatant racism, regardless of the nice-ness of the source.
