The episode of "This American Life" that was broadcast over Maine Public Radio Sunday night alone makes all that I have contributed to public radio (and it adds up to quite a bit over the years) worthwhile.

The program dealt with separation of church and state, what the founders really believed, the history of constitutional changes and attempted changes, and made it clear that those who claim to believe "every word of the Christian Bible" either have never really read the Bible or totally failed to understand what they were reading.
