Friday, I begin my 2 month section hike: DC to GA.  Yes, that's Friday 
the 13th (just to show I'm not superstitious ...  Hey, its payday: how 
bad can that be!)  I'm carrying a pocketmail composer, and can be reached at

So, I'm going off list shortly, until I return from hiking.  Before I 
go, I want to thank all of you for your advice, generously given.  I'm 
not just hiking my own hike, but lots of pieces of hikes all of you have 
given me to start with.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  I don't 
think it is any secret that any long distance hike owes a large debt of  
gratitude to help along the way.  Thank you.
