That raises an interesting question.  It is a question, which I am not sure I 
can answer, to my own satisfaction.  I have hiked some of the same sections of 
trail a number of times and had different assessments of their difficulty each 
time -- based on the weather, my physical condition, my frame of mind, my 
timeline, etc.

But just for some more trail directed discussion, what does the list think is 
the most difficult mile, or so, of the trail?
