Howdy,
How long should you expect any/all/most/some dehydrated food to last? The
conditions - Dried for mail drop, stored in vacuum sealed bags and kept in
the freezer until time to mail. Average time from freeezer to mail-drop
picked up about 10 days. Longest time anticipated from freezer to mail-drop
picked up, about 30 days.
I am primarily concerned with the 30 day issue. Are there any foods vacuum
bagged after dehydrating that would not be expected to withstand 30 days at
ambient temps? No control of course in the hands of the PO but reasonably
expected to be kept at normal working temps in transit of 40 to 110 degrees.
Any input appreciated.
