Sound advice from an obvious expert on the matter. Thanks, dancin free. And
it's consistent with what everyone who's written to me has advised.
Are ya listening, AT Class of '05" Forget the detailed planning. Get good
boots and socks. Hike to Neels Gap. Hit the outfitter for anything I've
forgotten. Forget the food boxes except for specialty items/meds, etc. and live
off the land. Listen to your body, and don't push the miles in Georgia.
Basically, "chill -- you'll be fine."
WEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL...ok. Feels right. And y'all ARE the experts. So, like, if
I die on the trail, it'll be on YOUR HEAD. Jest kiddin.
