Yes, time ticks on.  The days have been getting shorter, and I have been 
getting older.

U-TURN!  After tomorrow, each day will be longer than the one before.  Sure, 
I'll still get older but in a more pleasant way, with a smile on my face 
longer hours as the new year progresses.

Most exciting at this moment of all, January 2 is only two more weeks away.  
After that, no hunting.  The trail will be returned to us hikers.  See, 
Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
