This isn't such a bad suggestion. It is not far from I-75 and I-59. They 
advertise a group lodge that accommodates 40 for $225 per night. There are 
group shelters for meetings, $90-110 per day. Pioneer Campground costs $40 
per night, but "backcountry camping" is $4 per night.  Food would be up to 
us, as would be linens and blankets. I do not know if the lodge includes a 
group kitchen.

If we wish to pursue a state park like that, we need to make a decision 
soon, as they require a 1 month's advance notice. Someone will have to 
volunteer to front the money. MLK weekend is a three day holiday, and 
previously has been popular for other groups to get away as we hope.
