About a 40-minute wait here in Southern Pines, NC, before lunch.

It was kinda fun though - overcast, not too hot, everyone pretty 
jolly. Surprisingly so.

Saw lots of my neighbors, there were hugs and joking around, kind of a 
"we're-all-in-this-together" spirit I found surprising, giving the 
rancor of the last few months. People were running into the fire 
station to get the lame and the elderly chairs; others were reading or 
playing rock/paper/scissors.

Someone commented it was like a block party without the beer and 
pigs-in-a-blanket.
