Several of you listers have advised you can remove the krinkle from Tyvek by 
washing it.

I washed it.

If I had calibrated a laboratory quality Krinklometer and recorded the 
krinkle before and after washing the Tyvek, in a perfect soundproof setting, 
I MAY have been able to detect some difference.  Nominally, to the 
unassisted ear, however, there is no discernible difference.

What fine points have I missed?
