Novelist, was [at-l] Re: Katahdin at sunrise, was Digital cameras
He doesn't have ALS. I have met him, and he is one of my favorite writers....and just terrific.
He had spinal cancer, and with that he lost his ability to walk.
He was able to walk as a child and did walk until he was an adult.
If you ever get a chance to read his works, I suggest that you do so. My favorite is Promise of Rest.
You will fall in love with the father, even though he has his flaws.
