This sounds like sound judgment.  There are many opportunities to party 
throughout the year.  In fact, those who really want to party can set up a place 
that allows drinking (if that is important) and choose a place where no one will 
object to behavior displayed.  Perhaps access to some medical assistance in 
case that is necessary, would be prudent.

The important thing is to protect the reputation of ALDHA.
