Aleve/Naprosyn is only one of many NSAIDS (NonSteriodal Anti Inflamatory 
Agents) like aspirin, ibuprofen/Motrin/Advil, Aleve and more. We have some 
new ones that are well known and over-hyped (Vioxx, Bextra, Celebrex) for 
reduction of risk of GI bleeding.

I like Advil/Motrin/Ibuprofen more for acute pain from injury, Aleve and 
others for more chronic. I like Aspirin the best, whenever feasible.

Keep up with the glucosamine. It will not help pain, but does help with 
function, assuming we are dealing with an arthritis from overuse.
