Pilot Mountain News Item:

The 75-year-old Jomeokee Trail has been heavily eroded, and renovations are
necessary for visitor safety and to control stormwater runoff. The $429,130
project will restore approximately 2,900 linear feet of the trail by
placing 1,000 tons of quarried stone slabs along the route and stabilizing
the surface with ground sandstone.
