Planners probe car club plan

Charles Elliot, the lawyer representing the Appalachian Trail Conference and the Blue Mountain Preservation Association urged the planning commission to make sure the revised submission was "not some last minute scurrying around" by Alpine Rose to get plans in.

"When you do bring this next submission in, it's gotta be complete," Marano emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, residents barraged the car club proponents with questions about how they would feel living next to the track and told them to take a good look at all the people whose lives would be affected by the development.

The next Eldred Township Planning Commission meeting will be on Thursday, April 15.
