Thanks for the kind words about Nellie, she's blushing! 

As far as the shot in the heel goes, yeah, Dianne said it hurt like
hell, however, in her case it seemed to help eventually. YMMV.

I agree with Kelly about seeing a PT. A few years ago, I began to have
these awful stiff necks. I went to a doctor who diagnosed it as
arthritis (too many hours scrunched over a keyboard). She prescribed big
doses of ibuprofen which I dutifully took for months. While the Vitamin
I helped at first, it eventually became pretty ineffective.  I finally
went to a physical therapist who evaluated my posture and various other
bad habits I had developed and then gave me a whole series of stretches
and exercises to do. 
It's been about a year now and I rarely have pain.
