[at-l] Re: Digital Camera

I will be taking four 256MB cards with me. That gets me approximately 360
pictures at the highest resolution on my Olympus Stylus 400. That should be
enough to get from one major trail town to the next. I would guess that most
of the larger towns - Pearisburg, Erwin, Waynesboro, etc. would all have a
Walgreen's or similar photo shop. I also have a USB XD card reader that
weighs .6oz. If I find access to a computer with a CD burner, I could burn
my own.

Incidentally, the camera weighs 6.9oz and is advertised as being weather
proof. A spare battery, XD card reader, and the battery charger weigh
another 6.1oz. Note: The original charger plug was too long and too heavy. I
shaved 2.3oz by buying another plug at Radio Shack. I cut the wire down to
about 16" and spliced in another plug. Depending on how long the batteries
last me I may start to bounce the charger ahead of me.
