So I was visiting a good friend over the weekend down in Atlanta, and 
for the flight home, I was on a 767 that had been outfitted with video 
monitors.  One function of those monitors was tied to an onboard GPS 
receiver that updated our location in realtime.  As I was reading my 
trail book du jour, "How to Hike the Appalachian Trail," I noticed that 
the video monitor showed us directly over Amicalola Falls!

I had this sudden irrational urge to go find a parachute and begin my 
hike a month early.
