Jan, my mentor, hiked the AT last year and learned that catnip oil was
effective in repelling mosquitos. In her journal, I read that she did a test... She
put catnip oil on one arm, and nothing on the other. The arm with the catnip
oil got NO bites. The other was covered with them.
Here's some info:
Recent studies have found Cat Nip Oil to be a very effective insect repellent
when used as a spray on the skin. This Extra Strength Insect Repellent is a

I like the fact that it's all natural. I have an organic garden, don't use
