:D). I tend to do much thinking while hiking. For me,
it is therapy and meditation at 2-3 MPH. Knotty
problems are solved, new insights given, things I
haven't thought about in a while (or chose not to) are
forced to be though about.
This is the process I go through when I walk or jog on a regular surface.
I solve my problems & daydream, to the point that I sometimes come
out of it & wonder where I am, and how I got there.... It's fun to get that
into something.
