Isn't it the practice of the great majority of Leki users to have rubber tips 
on the feet of the Leki Poles?  The discussion has been thoroughly discussed 
from the point of view that the Lekis or other hiking pole system have points 
or sharp ends.  

The use of rubber feet or rubber tips would alleviate this problem it seems 
to me anyway.
