Vols prey on Gators, Wildcats, Razorbacks and pachyderm native to Alabama.
Thank you!  A vole is a rodent.  Vols is short for volunteers. Tennessee got 
the name from the record number of volunteers the state provided during both 
the War of 1812 and the Mexican War.
