The GMC has a Long Trail End-to-Ender's Guide. My 97 copy says that there's a Grand Union in Johnson. The Awesome View Hiker's Hostel in Johnson was awesome! The guide says there's some groceries and a deli at the Jonesville Country Store.
In 98, I resupplied at Sherburne Center and had a maildrop in Jonesville. Have fun on the LT!

Speaking of the Long Trail (north of Sherburne Pass to Trail End), does anyone know if mail drops are necessary or if I can buy along the way? I have the trail guide, but it lacks town info. I was thinking of doing a drop at Appalachian Gap (Hideaway Inn) and buying in Jonesville and Johnson. Any thoughts from Vermonters or LT'ers out there?
Thanks,
Sly
