[at-l] Glucosamine



There's definitely a disconnect with Glucosamine. Clinical studies
apparently are inconclusive. A couple of orthopedic doctors have told me
this, anyway. But anecdotal evidence is far more persuasive that it works.
Several people I talked to swore by it, so I gave it a try.

I stopped having knee pain about 3 months after I started taking it. I don't
have an explanation for why that happened, other than the Glucosamine.

The pain stopped a week before I did a week-long hike on the CDT. I didn't
have any trouble then or since, despite hiking on trails with significant
elevation change in the Rockies and the Smokies.
