OT: Who would I want CPR from ;-) (was) RE: Re[2]: [at-l] Emergency Books



 God know who this all going to since i am remoting, but Dubya if you get
this....

I Wonder who on this list I would want to give me CPR considering that CPR
not only includes chest compressions but mouth-to-mouth? ;-)

Yup. In fact, you have to have passed cpr, if the recommendations of the
forest
service and National Park Service are followed, before a maintainer can
use a
chain saw to remove the trunk of a  tree that may have fallen across the
trail.

Someone has suggested that the bureaucrats seem to have it backwards.
That the
brush clipping companion of the chainsaw operator seems more likely to
need the
information. If I accidentally remove a limb (mine, not the tree's), can
I
really expect to save myself with from a subsequent heart attack by
self-administering CPR?

Weary
