        The Kuna indians in Panama were light tan colored. That was because 
the Darien rainforest canopy was so dense that they lived most of their lives 
in the shade (there are also dark-skinned indians as well) The Panama sun was 
so strong it felt like it was penetrating your skull. India's Ganges Plain in 
May is also another hottie...

    I read a story about a local woman who visited relatives in Arizona in 
July. She took and ATV 4 miles into the desert in mid-day. The heat made the ATV 
break down so she started walking back. They found her nearly dead curled up 
in a ditch a mile from civilization only a few hours later. She had skin BURNS 
that took a year to heal -just from the sun, and organ damage that also took 
intensive medical rehabiliation. This was from just a few hours in the Arizona
