I remember hearing of a guy who ran the whole AT -- slackpacking and backed
by a "largish" support team all the way from Ga. to Me.  Apparently all he
carried was what a LD runner would carry.  Anybody remember who it was?
 
Anyway, a "spec ops" person from my home area told me a runner and the team
-- maybe the same one -- were stalked by some spec ops in training for a
long ways through Ga.  They had fun not being seen and yet keeping up with
the runner.
