Met a couple.  The guy was nice.  So was the girl -- until she found out
what a privy really was.  She expected something more like a gas station
bathroom.  That she was willing to put up with.  A privy -- no way.  And she
let everyone know it!  And she carried a can of Raid.  She pissed off
everybody around the site.  

But her boyfriend kept grinning all through it.  I asked him when she was
not around, "haven't you..."  He told me that he thought she was perfect and
had planned on asking her to marry him at the section's end.  Then he said
he had decided to drop her off at home and head straight back to the
jeweler's for a refund.  From what she said to some of the girls, she
thought he was about to ask her.  Wonder if she's still waiting?

You forgot to mention what happens when you get stuck on the Trail in the
friggin wilderness with someone that you've planned on hiking with and you
find out that the person doesn't even like to hike or even walk for that
matter and is afraid to camp.
