[at-l] Hammock



Go to any of the hammock manufacturer sites and see photos of
hammock hangers. You lay diagonally in a Hennessey, giving you a
great deal of room, and a relatively flat surface. This is the
only way to get sleep on a weekend or short section hike, as it
is far more comfortable than the usual tent/shelter bedmat and
bag combination. There are no hard pressure points on shoulders
and hips. You can roll and twist and turn freely. The important
thing is to tie the sides down, as you can twist the hammock
"upside down" and find yourself unable to exit the hammock
easily. That took a bit of work for me to create that mess.
