I will probably make the 12" sheath-knife carriers and those opposed to dogs
on the trail both  angry with this post.
Think about being alone in a shelter far from town. Which would you rather
share it with, a friendly, tail wagging dog or a scruffy looking stranger
that you have never seen before that gets out a 12" bowie knife and starts
whittling on something with it? Think very carefully about this one before
answering.
