[at-l] My Gear List - HELP!

For what it is worth, my experience with a 4 liter hydration bag took me
toward carrying more rather than less weight. I dumped it for a one liter
hydration bag and additional one liter bottles or bags -- the aggregate is a
few grams more that the 4 liter hydration bag.

Why? Well with all my water in a single bag and with that bag out-of-sight,
found that I was stopping at every water source to check how much water I
still had left.

Now when I come to a source, I know that had I estimated my need to the next
"reported reliable source" to me "x" liters and that "y" liters of that are
still in my pack. No need to stop and check how much I have left.
