Spur,

That was quite an impressive story. I wish I had had time to hear it in
person while we were at the Ruck. Twenty four miles a day in snow on flat
ground is REALLY good. On that section, it was awesome, ESPECIALLY going
down hill. I would much rather be going uphill in ice and snow than down.

On a related note, have you had enough winter hiking? I'm planning on doing
NOC to Fontana in early March. The Stecoas are never easy and March should
make for a nice challenge! I would prefer to try them in February, but I
don't think I can get away for that long in February.

Hopeful was also interested in going. Let me know.
