It is not too much to ask our federal government to provide a gun-free
corridor of a very decent width from Georgia to Maine, a place where deer,
bear, bunnies, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, old ladies, young men and women can
walk free to enjoy this last bit of "wilderness" without fear. I'm beginning
my own writing campaign to those who can make this happen.

Unfortunately, we now have an example to back up what we and most hunters
knew perfectly well would eventually happen.
