Hi, My father is thinking about hiking part of the AT (he has recently comp=
leted the Bibulman Track in Australia), however he doesn't want to hike the=
 whole of the AT. For Christmas, I would like to get him a book/books that =
provide him with maps and general topography in ALL States .  He wants to d=
o a 250-300 MILE walk which is pleasant with not too many mountains (maybe =
read that NO mountains!!!). Also he wants to find out more about Black Fly =
- he has heard that this insect is particularly unpleasant and found on the=
 track. Any suggestions on titles of such books would be GREATLY appreciate=
