[at-l] YakTrax???



Instep crampons. They are very good for ice, secure  very well to a
broad variety of shoe/boot. The straps can be used to help attach
things to your pack, such as bed mats, wet pack covers and such. There
is some weight to them, but can be the difference in a fall and a
difficult walk. YakTrax may not be designed for much distance, as they
look more like something to use during ice storms around the suburbs.
