I was out last weekend doing a loop up near Mt. Rogers. Brrrr.....It was C=
OLD!!! The bare trees and shrubs were covered in ice. It sure was lovely =
seeing the sunbeams dance on the ice crystals. Surprisingly, I found many =
others out there hiking with me including Southbounders, "One Gallon Bill" =
and "Autumn Leaves". They were each given an apple and a couple of snicker=
bars to help power them on their way. I believe they were hoping to finis=
h by early
December. Hmmmm.... I wonder if I can squeeze in another outing before wi=
nter sets in. BTW, the leaves were just about at their peak down below at =
lower elevations.
