[at-l] ounce winnie history lesson

Well that weight does include ammo and other munitions, they may carry 300
rounds of ammo in clips, a mine or anti-tank missile, possibly part of a
machine gun or mortar, radios, grenades, smoke grenades, pistol ammo, socks,
sleeping bag, night vision equipment, some sort of shelter, maybe some rope
or climbing gear all sorts of stuff that most LD hikers aren't hauling
around. They actually don't carry a lot of extra clothing and all their food
is MRE. And of course water. Also a rifle and possibly a pistol.

A lot of thought goes into their loads and the heavy load is just another
reason women don't do well as combat troops.
