My Canon Powershot A40 (2 M pixel 3X zoom) allows manual settings up to 15
seconds I think. I've used it at night and it works pretty good.  Its not a
superlight weight tho but it is light. I'm very happy with it so far its my
first digital after many years with SLRs. Street prices were around $300
when I got it a few months ago.
