[at-l] Cna not find a light Backpack that fits correctly

I am having a hard time trying to find a backpack.  I have tried many
different ones and the only ones that feel half way right are the
Gregory Forester and the Lassen.  The Forester is the lighter pack but
says it is for week end trips and should not be used for long hikes.
The Lassen feel very good but is heavier than the Forester. I have tried
a few of the lighter weight packs and 40 pounds in these packs feels
even heavier in a light pack that it does in a Lassen.  Some of the 2 or
3 pound packs that I have tried I know I would not be happy with and
would be hurting on a long hike. I would like a lighter pack but they
just do not seem to fit me correctly and they do not carry right for me.

So I am left in a mess.  I want to go as light as I can but I have found
that much of the lighter equipment would not keep me on the trail.  I
want to carry as little as possible but I do not want to be miserable
doing it.  I know that if I have to put up with to much misery from my
backpack not fitting right I will never finish the trail.

I would appreciate any feed back on this matter.
