Around here it's known as a Black & Tan, though usually the
combination is Guinness and Harp. No reason you couldn't use Long Trail
Ale instead, I guess.

While hiking the Long Trail last year, I had this very concoction. The
bartenders were adamant [btw - where is Adam Ant these days?] that it
not be called a Black and Tan, because it was Long Trail Ale instead of
Harp. They didn't like Half&Half at all. I suggested 'Long and Black.'
Once they dried their eyes from all the laughing, they decided it wasn't
PC. As far as I know, the drink is still waiting for an official name.
Off to find the F-man in Vegas.
