I want to get out on the trail but I cannot stop itching!  I am hardly able
to sleep, get up 3-4 times a night to take Benadryl and apply Benadryl
ointment to the bites.  I am convinced now that it must be chiggers.  OB,
you said they can colonize.  I have asthma which gets worse in hot weather
so am especially concerned about those nasty bug bombs.  Do they even work
on chiggers?  I read several places that they will stop in a couple of
weeks, but it has already been that long and it seems to be getting worse.
Any other suggestions??

We live in many acres of wilderness so I suspect that we just keep getting
them.  It is getting so bad that we thinking we will have to move.
