PA Jeff (AT 1976, PCT 1977 & 2000) is currently hiking the CDT.  I sent (stupidly) a package via FedEx to him at the post office in Leadville, CO.  Of course the post office refused delivery of it.  FedEx called me and noticed that it said "Hold for CDT hiker" on it and deduced that Jeff really needed the package, so they paid the small postage to get the postal service to take delivery of it.  I proclaimed the FedEx supervisor a bonafide "CDT Trail Angel".  He liked that. 

What was in the package that was so important for him to get?  Well, . . .  uh, . . .



Some chocolate chip cookies and the LA Times review of the NBA championship series.  ;-)
